Training & Safety

Safety is at the core of all production processes with no work undertaken until a comprehensive, job-specific method statement and risk assessment has been approved. Our aim is to minimise the number of instances of occupational accidents and ultimately to achieve an accident-free workplace.

We are able to demonstrate our commitment by Being ISO9001, Achilles Building Confidence and Achilles Link Up registered.

These elements combined with our CHAS approval (over 5 years) help both suppliers and buyers.

Training

Mandatory H&S training is essential for any construction company and so we can show that all our operatives have CSCS certification to show their general competence and understanding of Health & Safety on construction sites. In addition operatives will have IPAF, PASMA, First Aid and specific supervisor training as required.

In addition our involvement with specialist bodies will ensure the exacting standards of installation required for fire protection.

FIRAS

As a FIRAS Certificated company we demonstrate compliance with industry standards and product manufacturer installation instructions to assure clients that the fire protection installed is correct to specification and will afford the required fire protection. It requires the operative to have sufficient experience to assess a penetration as it is presented on site for the most efficient fire stopping solution.

To protect your company, use a FIRAS registered sub-contractor.

If this is not possible consider asking for an independent inspection towards the end of the contract.
