Fire rated ductwork is a specialist inspection and upgrading of horizontal and vertical construction joints between independent, self-supporting ducting systems.  Using high density foil-faced mineral wool panels, jointed using ablative mastic, the structural integrity of the substrate is maintained and the potential spread of fire is reduced.  We offer expert services in the following related elements :

Intumescent Mastic
Fire rated intumescent acrylic mastic is designed for sealing gaps around fire doors, for sealing joints, voids and irregular holes in fire rated structures, and for maintaining their integrity when sealing around pipes and cables that penetrate them.
It can be used in most low movement joints up to 30mm wide with no slump, and can be overpainted.
